Well I've been on summer vacation for almost a month now and I wish I could say it's been a blast but it's certainly had its ups and downs.

I've been sketching but my laptop is still acting funny so I'm, not able to color stuff in.

I've been mainly spending my time at my 2nd job. Yep. I got another one besides the Hot Topic one. I now also work at a Coffee Kart that's right outside one of the onbase buildings with no windows (Yay for Intelligence Buildings). But yeah. They offered me Full Time right away. So I'm working Mon-Fri 8:00 to 3:30 and ar $8 an hour. So not bad.

And once you get the hang of it, it's pretty fun.

So yeah. There's that and drama but you know what? I've got a year left (4 classes left) till I graduate and get my degree and I'm juggling 2 jobs to pay my way through. So having that drama get to me is pointless so yeah. *shrugs it off*

Well I'm off to get some rest for tomorrow's workday and grocery shopping asfterwards ^_^.

So the semester's almost through. I already had my Typography final which was actually a presentation. We had to present our final project (a 12 month self promotional calendar) to people at our Profs design firm that he called in from the business.

So yeah, no pressure there.

Anyway, it went well. I'm just glad it's over with. I'll try to post pics of the calendar. It's pretty funny as a calendar.

So next up is working on my portfolio images for my Photoshop final and wondering what kind of final my Page Composition prof has up her sleeve.

Oh and Ironman? Fuckin AWESOME!!! Dan and I are soooooooo going again to see it.

So yeah. It's been a while. Sorry everyone but getting my degree > DA. SORRY. I miss you guys!

But besides that things have been up and down. My classes have become more project intensive so yay fun there. So all my time, energy and sadly money has been going to all that.

I may post more of my homeworks here but probably not as much. Don't really think its target market is here >_>.

Oh and Dan and I got a Wii. It was my birthday present to him but we have joint custody of it. That and Brawl.

So yeah. Ive managed to take a small breath since last entry since I've finished my first draft of my InDesign reference manual. I've revised it and made my corrections (least the ones that I found). I now have to wait till my Prof looks over it and see what else is wrong with it (knowing her it'll be everything LOL). Then make it look pretty by adding my own flair. Yay flair.

So what has teh Mio been doing in her spare time (besides watching Metalocalypse on DVD) ?

Yeah...thanks to there being only 4 weeks of school left my classes have thrown projects into overdrive. Technically I only have 8 days left in each of those classes till the semester ends. Good and a bad thing. Good cuz I could use a break, bad because now everything is dropped on us. It's mainly my Page Composition class that has me going nuts. I have to:

1) Finalize my Tee Shirt designs for the PACIFICHEM 2010 Conference by Thursday.

2) Print out what I have done so far of my Reference Manual (A self made manual done by copying and pasting text and images from InDesign's Help Menu). Now this shouldn't be so bad right? Yeah well when it's done it's supposed to come out to around 130 pages. Yeah....I'm soooo gonna kill that printer.

3) Finalize my Stationary designs for my Classmate Logo project and have files ready for color reprint. Not to mention I still need to buy Presentation boards from somewhere since we're now out at the campus bookstore. Fuck. >_<!

So yeah. Hardly any time to myself to draw what I want. I barely had time to sketch out the Boomkins in my Scraps folder. I needed to draw them. At that point in time I was really down. So...yeah.

Graphic Class are the sole purpose as to why I'm going grey and/or bald from stressing my color out of my hair to me yanking them out in clumps.

This was sooo not in the fucking brochure for this degree program.

Least I'll be done in a 1.5 years. Then off to what I really want...
