Okay. Some of my mainlander friends may have heard on the news that Hurricane Flossie (originally a catergory 3/4) was heading towards the island chain of Hawaii.

Okay. No one panic. I am okay.

I lived in Japan for 4 years and dealt with waaaaaay harsher storms. Trust me. Storms here don't scare me much. Nor do the earthquakes. Last big earthquake we had was in October and it was a 6 pointer. LOL!

Me: *wakes up groggy* Hmm. Room shaking...meh earthquake *goes back to sleep*

So yeah. Flossie right now as of 1:54 AM a Tropical Storm and it's pretty much just hitting the Big Island. I live on Oahu which is 3 islands up from the Big Island.

And with it being a tropical storm, by the time it hits my island it'll just be some nice trade winds and moderate rain which we have been lacking for a while.

Again, I am fine and Tropical Storm/Hurricane Flossie will not affect me
